Customizing Demo Content

Hi,

I just installed the demo content for Joyn and i’m wondering how to customize the template.
I tried to delete pages and update the menu but its not working out.

Please advise how to work around the demo content.

The content seems fine. What page are you trying to delete?

I just need these pages:

– about me
– home freelancer
– home narrative
– portfolio (multi-size masonry)
– post style: detailed page
– contact me

I tried deleting all the other pages and changing the menu but it remains the same.

Managed to delete major part of them, they still are in trash.
Can you try to clear your browser cache?

another question. for the portfolio individual page (post) can i have the images use the parallax effect? i’ve multiple images to show on a single project.

Hi,

Yes, you can use the Swift Page Builder inside the Portfolio items, so you use the Parallax asset

Great! i got the parallax to work for the images but not for video.
can i use a vimeo link?

this are the settings im using:

parallax type: video
background type: cover
background video mp4: using vimeo link

Also, I saved a template for the parallax layout. As I was playing around with different posts I realized that my portfolio posts are not showing up. I can only see 3 clients.

A few more questions:
• from previous post: how to add vimeo video for the parallax image
• what size should i built the images for full width. i saw some images on your template are 1920×1080 but when i resize my images it doesn’t work.

You can only use self hosted videos for parallax backgrounds
