Custom taxonomies for blog element

It seems is a long requested feature, but it seems still no news under it. Maybe some custom code can help.

I would like to know if it is possible to edit some files, or add custom code to functions.php in the child theme to be able to choose custom taxonomies for custom post types.

It’s already possible to override the custom post type. Check the advanced tab.

Hi Rui, my question is about custom taxonomies (categories), not custom posts types (as shown in the screenshot).

Some extra details: Taxonomies created via Toolset Custom Taxonomies, not custom categories.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Not it’s not possible at the moment to select a specific category of a specific custom post type.

This features has been asked for some time as a search in the forums suggest.

We know but unfortunately, we don’t have enough to implement everything. And that’s why we asked for the customer’s opinion so we can schedule this year developments.

Let’s see if the development can include this in a future development.

Custom post types, without custom taxonomies is half a feature.
