Custom Font not working. Ive checked all the threads and nothing seems to address the problem. Here is a screengrab of the file structure on the ftp:
I downloaded and installed a “use any font” plugin because the Joyn custom font feature wasn’t working. Now I just noticed that depending on the computer the fonts are not displaying properly.
How can I get the theme to let me use my font. THe font i want to use is an OTF font

Can you send me the zip file of the Proxima fonts.
Often the zip just needs to re-uploaded in the Theme Options => Fonts section and then selected as the main font.
If you are using the plugin, please contact the plugin author.
Thanks,
David.January 15, 2016 at 9:30 pm #240964I would rather use your theme than the plugin.

Can you disable the other font plugin. I am seeing an error from the Redux font conversion:
Unable to decompress compiled font file(s)
Could you test updating the theme version also: http://test.overdrivedesign.com/structure/wp-admin/update-core.php.
I’ll need to run this past the team also for a second opinion.
Thanks.
January 18, 2016 at 3:07 pm #241422So i disabled the font plugin. Do i have to remove all the folders off the FTP?
-MJanuary 18, 2016 at 3:13 pm #241429There doesnt seem to be any change
still wont uploadJanuary 18, 2016 at 3:27 pm #241437Hi,
No don’t worry about that, the issue is caused by the Redux Options font service, it seems like this is temporarily not working.
The strange thing is I have uploaded your fonts to my test dev site fine.
Can you add your FTP details?
Thanks.
January 18, 2016 at 4:14 pm #241471It wont let me, but you can tell me where to look and what to change.
-MJanuary 18, 2016 at 4:23 pm #241477Sorry, I meant can you privately add your FTP detail here within the post editor.
I wanted to check your site is not running out of memory trying to handle the zip file. Please open your
wp-config.php
and add this in:define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
.Thanks.

– I can upload your font files to my dev version fine, but on your site I get the error also.
Cheers,
DavidJanuary 20, 2016 at 10:29 pm #242376So ive set up a new site to trouble shoot problems with the theme. Its a child, no funny stuff with the original theme or js.
I’m still not able to upload the custom fonts properly. THey show up on the ftp in the redux folder, but they dont show up as a selectable font in the builder. I would really like to continue using your theme, but if I can’t get this bug figured out i’m going to have to switch. IT’s too hard explaining to clients “…trust me the fonts there, it will display, you just have to use <h>tags”
I appreciate your hardwork.

Can you ask your host to supply the error logs for your test site installation?
Thanks.
