My first suspicion is the header.php file.

Can you prefix that as disabled-header.php and re-test?

One of the child theme template files will need to be updated/merged with the corresponding updated parent theme file.

    Hi,

Hmm, that does not seem to be the offending item. You are going to need to do this for each file, including the CSS files to find what is causing this.

    I’ve just seen this also:

That is really not something I can recomend, the latest theme update also required the latest SF plugin update.

    Thanks.

At least it’s ruled that out then.

Please disable each file within the child theme, each testing for the conflict.

    Thanks.

I’m sorry but we can’t keep assisting you in this kind of modifications since we can’t support customizations because they take a lot of our time to reply to tickets.

    Hope you understand.

As I cannot access the file via FTP or the WP editor, I cannot check.

Have you validated your added HTML to be sure you have not got an extra closing div or you are missing one? Maybe supply a gist link of the code.

There is no need to have the file within your child theme, you can hook into the supplied do_action('sf_header_start'); and add your code that way.

    Thanks.

Its hardly a big modification, its a simple row on top of another row, I shouldn’t be having an issue because as with any theme you stick a row on top of a row it just works it doesn’t cause the content which has nothing to do with the header to be pushed inwards it doesn’t make sense.

    As above.

As I cannot access the file via FTP or the WP editor, I cannot check.

Have you validated your added HTML or done any debugging to isolate this issue within that file? Be sure you have not got an extra closing div or you are missing one? Maybe supply a gist link of the code.
