When I load my contact page (see published pages > ‘Contact Us’) initially there’s a large white vertical gap on the left of the page. Only when I manually resize my web browser does it suddenly disappear and correct itself.

I’ve noticed if I preview the ‘Contact: Simple’ layout from the draft pages, that does the same thing. I based my contact page on a combination of elements from the Simple and Modern versions of the contact pages.

    Hi Ben,

Can you disable the child theme whilst we investigate and also update the WP Core version?

Hello, I disabled the child theme and used the parent theme and that seemed to correct the issue.

I have not altered the default page template so not sure why it its happening :/

    Cheers

    Ben

I cannot see the child theme folder structure. I would need your FTP details.

What are you overriding within the child theme?

I am not able to login using those FTP details. Can you ask your host to check those.

Whichever file/function you are overriding in the child you would need to get the file/function from the parent theme which would have been updated.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

There has been no modifications to the child theme. I cannot access your FTP.

Please ask your host if they are blocking connections and show the image/FTP details.

Even disabled, I still get the same error.

    Is your host blocking IPs/countries?

I am in the UK, where are you?

I do not have the editor for themes available, have you disabled this in the wp-config.php file?
