Contact form not working

Hello, I recently installed the Flexform these and demo data, and I have not been able to get the contact form to work. When I submit, it says “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

I found another person post the same issue, where it was recommended to install the WP SMTP plugin. I installed that but still no luck. Are there some settings I need to configure in the WP SMTP plugin? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Alan,

This should work out of the box, as it’s using the standard PHP mail() function, provided by WP in context.

Can you please check if that function is working, with your webhost? I know Dreamhost have a stupid setting that basically forbids you using it – are you perhaps using them?

I was able to get it working, thanks. Turns out the contact form ID that came with the demo page was not matching the contact 7 form id.
