    The color customizer fields do not stay open for me. It keeps cycling and the areas close before I can select a color. I am asking this is the “right” section I hope for you to answer???

    I had this problem. For me, I had to disable a minifying option in a cacheing plugin. Once I did that, everything worked fine.

    Hi,

    Do you have any plugins active? Maybe one of them is conflicting with the customzier. Note that the Color Customizer is WordPress native functionality.
