I have some questions relating to hiding the following details with CSS – something which i think google may see at keyword stuffing and punish the page rank as a result?
I just wanted some clarity on why you have hidden (display: none;) these elements but they are still shown in the HTML source.

    <span class=”posted_in”></span>

    <div class=”product-desc”></div>

I don’t need these elements in the PHP but was wondering if there is an easy way to stop the page loading them into the html without using the child theme?

Is this for Nota or Atelier, I see you reference the two?

    Hi David,

To confirm I’m using Atelier, I don’t use Nota (sorry not sure how that link got in there?) it should have been this one – http://swiftideas.com/shop/

To remove those programmatically you would install and activate the supplied child theme, inside the child theme folder create this new folder/file structure /woocommerce/content-product.php

Inside the file: content-product.php you would paste this code, from which I have commented out the sections you refer to.

    Hi David,

Thank you for this, is there another way to remove this code other than removing the code from the file or CSS?
I am just concerned that if there is a security update on this page my theme wont be updated.

    Many thanks,

    Peter

Peter those two ways are the only way.

Using a child theme will keep the changes regardless of core theme updates.

    Hi Guys,

Could you tell me if this page code has been updated during the theme updates?
Some sale pricing features on variable products is not working quite right since updating woocommerce to v3.

    file ref: content-product.php

    Hi,

We release the update to fix the 3.0.4 compatibility yesterday. The files should be already in the themeforest download area and also if you check for updates in the WordPress dashboard it should already be possible to see there the update.
