Child Header.php not showing changes

I have run into an odd issue. I update the child theme style.css and the changes work. I update the header.php in the child them and no changes take place. Is the theme over riding this somehow? Help! 🙂

Hi,

That’s the correct way of doing it.

I logged in your admin and couldn’t change the header.php to test it because of permission issues, maybe it’s because of that.

Please check the files permissions.

File perms are correct. The new file is there, it just isn’t being read by the theme. ?????????????????????????????

Those things are managed by WordPress nothing the theme can control.
Can you provide ftp access to edit the header.php to try to figure it out.

The header that is being loaded is the one inside the child theme.
Check the attached image, I already reverted the changes.
