Change Portfolio Thumbnail Image Dimensions

Is there a way to change the dimensions of the thumbnails for the Portfolio images? The tops of my images are getting cut off.

Is there any chance you could upload without the reflection? As that seems to be pushing it up for when it resizes down to thumbnail

Well the issue isn’t anything to do with the size of the thumbnail as that’s correct when you look at the converted image it doesn’t have a top.

I’ll see if I can get Ed or Cosmin in here to see if there is a way to make sure the imported image doesn’t get cropped as bad.

Hey Chris,

Option 1, great plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/post-thumbnail-editor/

Option 2 would be to edit functions.php and, where you see add_image_size(…, true), make that “true” read “false” (no quotes). Though I think you’d still need a bit of help from that plugin.

That plugin looks great and sort of helps, except that the images after being re-cropped are skewed. Ended up getting the same look I wanted by just putting each image in a 1/4 size text block and adding a lightbox code to each link. Same effect, without the hassle of dealing with the automatically generated thumbnails.
