    Hi

    Looks like Rui forgot to assign to the developer, I will do it now. It just means the developer will have a look at your issue and see if he can identify the problem

    Here is the issue. You have something (maybe on your hosting, if not a plugin) which is adding in an extra version of jQuery – https://www.dropbox.com/s/kd92luey4clmnjg/Screenshot%202014-09-24%2016.44.52.png?dl=0

    Stop that from happening, and the issue will be solved! This isn’t anything to do with the theme.

    I’ve already tried disabling every plugin and that didn’t work. If it’s something in the hosting, how do I determine that what do I do about it?

    This is probably absolutely crazy and off the wall…could it have anything to do with the fact that she is the ‘Million $ Party Girl’? I don’t know much about jquery, but what I’m seeing in my research of this issue is that ‘$’ is like an abbreviation for a function or something…???

    Like I said, crazy and off-the-wall. I removed all the dollar signs from the speaker page and it’s still not working. *sigh*

    If you’ve disabled all plugins, the only thing I can think of is that its some speed setting on your hosting or something like that.. Best bet is to ask them rather than search around if you’re not sure!

    Ok, I figured out where the conflict is coming from! I added this script to the header:

    <span style=”float:right;”>
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”//forms.ontraport.com/v2.4/include/formEditor/genbootstrap.php?method=lightbox&uid=p2c22379f1&version=1″></script>
    <table border=”0″ width=”100%” cellspacing=”0″ cellpadding=”2″ bgcolor=”#E4E4E4″>
    <tr>
    <td></td>
    <td><font face=”Tahoma”><font size=”2″>Receive your FREE Chapter from </font> <br>
    <b><font color=”#DF0086″>SUCCESS SECRETS OF A MILLION $ PARTY GIRL</font></b></font><p>
    <font face=”Tahoma” size=”2″>Learn Secret #5, Lynn’s secret sauce to creating massive action!</font></p>
    <p align=”center”>
    </p>
    <style type=”text/css”>
    .moonray-form-p2c22379f1 {
    display: none;
    }
    .moonray-form-error-message.moonray-form-error-message{
    z-index: 1000;
    }
    </style></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </style>
    </span>

    Here’s what I don’t understand. There are like TEN <script></script> statements in the header – why are THEY not causing conflicts but mine is?????

    @yourwebchick – the only issue is that there is a version of jQuery being included there, that is what is messing up the slider.

    So how do I *not* include a version of jquery here? I don’t really know, I’m still learning!

    You can’t – thats the version of jQuery which WordPress loads. You’d need to remove the one that you’ve added.

    Well actually that’s not strictly true, you can – however this wouldn’t resolve the issue of the testimonials not working.
