Bullet Points not Working – On V1.5 of Theme

Bullet points on my page are not working.

In the past – Ed had provided me with this code – which made some Bullets work – but not others.

.body-text ul, .excerpt ul {
list-style: disc inside;
}
.body-text ul ul, .body-text ul ul ul, .excerpt ul ul, .excerpt ul ul ul {
padding-left: 20px;
}
.table, tbody, tfoot, thead, tr, th, td { vertical-align: middle; }

ul
The bullets are in the web page (you should see the ul /li /li code etc on the page

I would appreciate your feed back soon – as we have now had our web pages like this for 2-3 months.

Hi Carl,

As I mentioned in my reply to Sarah, I’ve tested this in my Pinpoint 1.5 setup and the lists definitely work – either in the classic editor, or in a text element with the page builder.

While I wait for Sarah’s reply on her own thread, to see hands-on and debug the issue, can you please try removing that custom CSS Ed provided and let me know how that goes?

Sarah, bumping a thread actually puts it at the back of the queue, as we usually reply to older threads first 🙂

Hi Cosmin
Taking the CSS code out (saving) – then flushing cache’s etc etc
–> This has made no difference

Please note – some pages do show bullets

But even for these pages – there is no indent

then other pages show no bullets at all

Looks like Twitter Bootstrap is overriding some parts.

Can you test this custom CSS and let me know if it works for you?

Brilliant – that worked
I havent tested whether its working correctly for bullt points that are nested at 2 levels or 3 levels, but for hte moment its all I need

Should be working.

But please note you won’t be able to use them in conjunction with our list shortcodes, on the same page. Doing that would add bullets to the list icons, as discussed in this thread (last post).
