Bug domain name with accent

Hi,

I have a very big problem. I import your page with .xml and if I change a block or content that already existed, I don’t have any problem. But if I want to delete or change an existing content nothing happen. If I want to create a new page or post or portfolio… the accent in url is removed and th page is not find on serveur.
When you have an accent in géneral wp setting :
your wordpress adress is xn-domainname-withoutaccent.fr
and your website name is your domainname-withaccent.fr

Il you have more question and a solution I’m avaible but I’m in France (sorry for my english)

Hi,

You domain settings in the WordPress settings for “the WordPress Address (URL)” and the “Site Address (URL)” had different values.

The values on those fields can’t contain the accents because they will automatically be converted .

I already correct these values and seems to be fine now.

Take a look at the screenshot.

p.s- This is not a theme issue.

Hi,

Thanks for your help and sorry if it is not a theme issue but at first I asked to OVH technical support (host) and they said me to fill fieds in wp setting like that and when I discovered that I couldn’t change or create new pages they said me that should be a problem with theme or wp. That’s why I ask to you too … Sorry but I ‘m not a developper just a graphic and web designer and I know CSS but I don’t understand all about developpemnt or hosting that’s why I pay for good wp theme.
