Blog – Show item excerpt: Doesn’t seem to work.

Hi

I can’t seem to get the blog item excerpt to display. I don’t think it’s anything new. I don’t recall ever seeing it working. The blog posts themselves, work fine. Any ideas what’s wrong?

Hi,

Inside the post at the bottom you should fill the custom excerpt inside the Meta options-> Post meta

I changed the custom excerpt of the post “INTRODUCING THE D&TINTRODUCING THE D&T”

Is it because I’m using the page builder that the automatically generated content isn’t displaying?

Below the Custom Excerpt box it says:

You can optionally write a custom excerpt here to display instead of the excerpt that is automatically generated. If you use the page builder, then you’ll want to add content to this box.

Yes it is, because the content inside the page builder has the shortcode format, so it’s necessary to use that specific field for the custom excerpt.
