The demo looks great but do I need to back it up somehow as suggested? As far as secure connection. I already have my ssl certificate and https is enabled on wordpress. It showed secure connection with green lock prior to uploading demo content. whynopadlock.com shows these files are unsecure preventing the secure connection.

How would I fix this?

The url still shows https but it is grayed out and says not fully secure

The backup was only to avoid redoing what I have done.
You can replace those in Appearance-> Menus. It’s the images on the demo mega menu.

So if I just delete that html code it should go back to secure?

Yes, from the several menu items or replace by an image located in your server.
Or delete the Demo menu items section.
