    I’ve used this calendar plugin on 3 other themes without an issue of slowness. This is my first experience where the plugin just killed the site speed.

    Anybody else have this, or have a fix?

    I love Dante and ai1ec, however the site speed is unbearable. I’d like to use the Calender plugin if the speed were improved.

    Hi,
    Please try to use wp super cache plugin . You need to increase your hosting server resources . There are many factors for speed of website . Any other plugin may slow speed of website so you should check after disable plugin one by one except Event plugin . Always use latest version of theme 2.53 .
