Hello

He’s telling me that I need to add a Javascript code to the section of the page. If I do that I will lose the changes everytime I update the theme.

What is the proper way to add Javascript text to the head?

Hi,

If you need to add something like that and not lose it when updating, you would need to create a simple plugin that adds the JS to the wp_head hook.
