add to cart issue?

Hi Guys,

I am encountering with some strange issue on product pages.
We have mostly variable products. The customer should select a variation (shirt size) and then add it to the cart. Right now if someone clicks on the add to cart button (BEFORE they choose the size) they get a popup error message saying:
Please select some product options before adding this product to your cart.
However right after this, the system do add a product to the cart (without a variation) and now it causes issues as we get orders but don’t know what size?

Any recommendation please?

Hi,

Guess you are using a plugin that changes the variations input, that can be the issue.
try to activate the Twenty 16 theme to see if this still happens.

Hi Mohammad,
it doesn’t work correctly for me.

If the variation drop down shows ‘CHOOSE YOUR SIZE’ it shouldn’t allow the visitor to be able to click on the add to cart button – but now it does! Sometimes, it even add a product to the cart without a variation.
