    Hi guys,
    Quick question on accordions:
    Are they designed so that all sections of an accordion are of the same height? So if one accordion is only a couple sentences but another section of the accordion is substantially longer, will they all take on the same height? And if this is the case, is there any way to change it so the height of the accordion is just enough to accommodate the contents?

    Hi,

    They are not on the same height, they will adjust height according to their contents.

    Hi Laranz,
    Something must be awry with ours then, as they seem to have all adopted the height of whichever accordion is the longest. I wonder if it’s an issue with a plug-in… any other ideas?

    Actually, it looks like this is a bug associated with upgrading to the new release of WordPress… http://wordpress.org/support/topic/accordion-height-fixed-size-since-upgrade-to-wordpress-36

    Hi Melanie,
    Actually, I believe it is a theme issue if an element of your theme is no longer compatible with wordpress. There’s no way for me to fix this and now my site looks a mess. I’d appreciate a fix.

    Try adding the following to the custom css box within theme options:

    .wpb_accordion .ui-accordion .ui-accordion-content {
height: auto!important;
}

    Howdy,

    So that fixed the height, but now the opening of one accordion to the next is quite jittery or rough. Any ideas? Check out this for an example…
