Apologies, I just noticed the issue – it was totally my own fault – I had an extra bracket in the css which was closing off a media query too soon. Thanks!

Hi Kyle,

For your info, I downgraded to version 2.3.13 of Woocommerce and that fixed the issue. So it seems something was introduced in a recent version of Woocommerce that changed how the JSON responses were received from the Realex Payment Gateway Plugin. Hopefully they will fix the issue soon, but will use the earlier version for now!
