Great!
Thank you very much Ed 🙂
Hi Ed,
No, this is the ‘Scuba Diving Courses’ carousel. No issues with this one.
Please read my reply of 12 of Feb and see the post attachment.

YannHi Ed,
On this page http://www.neptunescubadiving.com/diving-courses/
when on mobile view and on the ‘Freediving Courses’ carousel, arrows are showing and functional on your screen?Yann
Hi Kyle,
Ok I understand, I reverted to old WooCommerce version.
That’s my first website so I’ve learned the downside of heavy modifications, the way I did it at least. Thanks for your help anyway.

YannThis reply has been marked as private.Hi,
Sorry I don’t understand this part of your answer: “I would keep the carousel turned on…”
Is there a switch for that?
Anyway, I wouldn’t mind having the navigation arrows on desktop screen, this is not the problem.
They do not appear because there is no need for them as on this carousel there are only 3 items in a 3 columns layout. The problem is, when viewing on mobile screen the 3 columns are squeezed in 1 and only one item is visible. Without nav arrows the other items can’t be displayed.I attached 2 screen shots.
On top of the 1st one ther’s a carousel named “Scuba Diving Courses”, it has 6 items and so it displays nav arrows. At the bottom there’s a carousel named “Freediving Courses”, it has only 3 items and so does not display any nav arrows.
In this case everything is normal. On the 2nd screen shot you can see the mobile version of “Freediving Courses” portfolio, the 3 columns are squeezed in 1, only one item is visible.
In this case there is a problem, there should be the nav arrows to display the remaining 2 items. In my previous post I said I found a solution to make them appear but there are not functional.
How do I make them appear AND functional?
Thanks for your help 🙂
Hi Halleg,
Thanks for the compliment!
I bought the original logo on: http://www.123rf.com
artist portfolio: http://www.123rf.com/profile_doomko
But I modified it myself to suit my needs and business name.Cheers
YannYes, compatibility is still a pain nowadays.
Thanks for the link grokism 😉
Cheers!
I tried on latest Firefox (Windows) and not working here, I have little square with references instead of icons.See screenshot.
What about IE?
Thanks
YannAlso,
The problem is the same on Firefox..
Is there a way to have the font awesome icons locally, even if it implies buying a set from them.
That would fix the issue.Regards
YannHi again,
I’ve checked with my hosting provider, BlueHost, they told me to see with the developer that they do not provide assistance for that.
I really tried but I didn’t find anything out there that works for me.
I reference the MIME types that were not. I created an .htaccess file in the font folder with this:<FilesMatch “.(ttf|otf|eot|woff)$”>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*” /* tried also with “my domain.com */
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>I cleared cache after each try.
I really need to find a solution to this issue, as we cannot even see the portfolio “chevron” arrows anymore making navigation impossible for this element and makes the website general readability difficult. Please try to help.
Thanks
YannHi Ed,
Ok, I’ve been trying to sort that out all day but no luck. Should I contact my hosting service for that issue?
Thanks
YannThanks Melanie 🙂
Sorry I checked this element but didn’t find the function in conflict, didn’t think about disabling it to check… Yes I’ll just insert them with html and link them.
Cheers!
