What this ever fixed? I have the same issue – only on category archives, the recent posts widget shows numbers instead of post titles and they’re linked to the main blog page with the number at the end of the URL.

Just one thing needed to be fixed in order to show the map in a diffrent language:
the parameter added to the Google Maps script should be language=iw instead of lang=iw

I fixed it.

The child theme doesn’t have the line you mentioned. How do I correctly add it in the child theme’s funcitons.php?
