I tried some caching plugin (W3 Total Cache, Warm Cache, WP widget cache) but nothing changed.
In order to have a benchmark, I tested the speed and size of another page (a graphic design studio, with a site rich in images): for what I know, this site is developed in WordPress as well.

This page is 13,9 MB (while mine is 9 MB), but the site is fast and fluid! — please test by yourself

A.It worked!
Thank you very much. Can you please give me a fix for the other problem too?
“2) The website seem to be slow, jumpy and not fluid: could you please check it and suggest a solution?”Thanks.
ATHi,
I’m here again dealing with this issue.
My agency’s site is finally online: http://www.madfactorystudio.com1) If I include the whole link instead of the id only, scrolling feature in home page is missing: so if I want to go — for example — from Home to Portfolio the page reloads instead of scrolling down.
But without the whole link, when I’m in a single project page (please click on any thumbnail in the Portfolio section) I have the previous problem: only Home menu item will work in the single project page. How can I fix it?
2) The website seem to be slow, jumpy and not fluid: could you please check it and suggest a solution?
Thank you very much.
ATHi,
I made my agency’s site with Dante and we’re nearly done, have a look if you wish:
http://www.madfactorystudio.comCheers.
AToops, the attachment
Thank you.
Please let me submit another question, as it deals with the Portfolio Showcase as well.I followed your instruction here, about adding a custom css to avoid the black-bar problem.
It worked quite fine, but now I have a strange behavior in project titles (see attached screenshot).
The problem is with the pop-up appearing on mouseover to show the project’s title: it doesn’t start from the bottom of the image but a little lower, apparently where the black stripe’s bottom stands. The result is this unpleasant misalignment. So the problem is not the color of the bar, but the bar itself.
How can I remove it (as it doesn’t seem to be there in your Dante Live Preview)?I hope I made it clear.

Thank you so much.

It seems to solve my problem but generates a new issue too 🙂
Now all the menu items remain simultaneously selected (see attached screenshot).
Any fix for this?
Thank you in advance.
ATOk. Could you please explain how to do that?
Thank you very much.I’m having the same problem (with dante v. 2.51)
Inserted a parallax section with custom bg image, pattern mode, but stellar effect doesn’t work — the result is a white background in the parallax section instead of my image.
Any fix?Ok, thank you very much.
But as I am not so much confident with coding, I have to ask you:
— How to create a custom link in my menu?
— Where do I have to add the class ‘smooth-scroll-link’?This reply has been marked as private. -
