    Thanks.

Will there be any fix for the grid on iPad? I guess it is not meant to like this by design?

I can see this kind of breaks up on an iPad: http://cardinal.swiftideas.com/shop-demo-three/shop/

Not sure if it is because the design breaks up, or if “Call: 0800 123 4567 etc” being placed over the sidebar ruins things. Have a look in both landscape and portrait mode on iPad.

So, maybe my first question was the best: Is it possible to set apart 1/4 of the page for sidebar/menu, and 3/4 for product display?

And with the latest update of the theme, I get this:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘rnp_postmeta.meta_value’ in ‘order clause’]
    SELECT rnp_posts.* FROM rnp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND rnp_posts.post_type = ‘galleries’ AND (rnp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR rnp_posts.post_status = ‘private’) AND rnp_posts.post_password = ” ORDER BY rnp_postmeta.meta_value+0 DESC, rnp_posts.post_date DESC
WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘rnp_postmeta.meta_value’ in ‘order clause’]
    SELECT rnp_posts.* FROM rnp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND rnp_posts.post_type = ‘spb-section’ AND (rnp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR rnp_posts.post_status = ‘private’) AND rnp_posts.post_password = ” ORDER BY rnp_postmeta.meta_value+0 DESC, rnp_posts.post_date DESC

    From the thread:

    “Also, please check the file:
    /var/www/html/wp-content/themes/cardinal/includes/plugins/aq_resizer-1x.php (Line 125)

Perhaps they are doing something funky while resizing the images. In that case you should submit a request to the developers of the theme.”

Do you remember WHERE you removed this with CSS? I am having some problems viewing tabs, so I just wondered if you did anything in the WooCommerce files. I have upgraded the theme and changed themes several times, so there is nothing left in the child themes css.

No, I can see someone has deactivated WooCommerce, but the error i still there when I reactivate it.

Almost sorry to hear that 😉 No, I am not… I did set the image sizes to 500×700, 500×700 and 200×200, with hard crop, I also tried a few variants. And I got the above mentioned error on single product view. When the thumbnails were OK, I could not see the product in full size – on most products.

I am starting to think there have been to much trial and error in my WP installation, do you have any recommendation for backing up and moving a WooCommerce installation? The only thing of value is in fact my WooCommerce data, so it would be good if I could reinstall everything else.

    I have used Thumbnail Upscale:

By the way, this is part of the standard settings in the theme:

“This was because the header background color(#fff) is the same color has the header links.
The icons were there but we couldn’t see them.”

Just reinstalled the theme, and got the same problem again (but this time I had the solution).

    Hi,

I am still getting this error. I have reinstalled the Cardinal theme.

When I switch to another theme the error disappears, to reappear when going back to Cardinal. It seems Cardinal is the only theme with this problem.

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘rnp_postmeta.meta_value’ in ‘order clause’]
    SELECT rnp_posts.* FROM rnp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND rnp_posts.post_type = ‘galleries’ AND (rnp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR rnp_posts.post_status = ‘private’) AND rnp_posts.post_password = ” ORDER BY rnp_postmeta.meta_value+0 DESC, rnp_posts.post_date DESC

    Any ideas?

Sorry for not thinking outside the box earlier:

    http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/28359/how-to-require-a-minimum-image-dimension-for-uploading

It leaves me with solving the issue with existing pictures, but solves the issue for future uploads.
