    hi,

It now looks fine on my end as well without changing anything, strange. But glad that’s sorted.

I will look into the child theme css, though I don’t know anything about it…Will figure it out.
    Thanks!

    hi,

thanks for the css, it worked.

Concerning the container issue with the logo. It works on Safari, but not with Chrome.
Is there any way I can fix this?
Also, on Safari the menu is outlined at the top of the logo instead of the middle (as in your demo). Can I fix this as well?

Concerning changes I made in the Stylesheet and php file of the header. How do I prevent my changes from disappearing when I do the next update…?

    thanks again

    hi Mohammad,

    here it is.
Please also note my comment before the last one about changing the vertical border color of the header (between shopping list and wish list) without changing the overall color of the borders in all pages.

    cheers Kyra

    hi,

sorry to get back to this issue but I also still seem to have issues with the logo container size.
Mohammad suggested changing the span in the php file of the sf header (which I did) as suggested above but it doesn’t outline properly.
I fiddled with the span myself which seemed to do the trick (span 7 and span 5 instead of span 8 and span 4) but since the last update the php file went back to default and this doesn’t work anymore.
Any ideas how I can make the menu next to the logo look neat and in one line?

*regarding the last update: not sure if I am supposed to do this but I have made some changes directly to the stylesheet CSS but since the update everything went back to default again (wiping out my own changes). This was the same with the above php file. How do I prevent this from happening again at the next update?
How would that work if I now change the logo container size in the php and this is reset again at the next update?

    thanks again

    hi Kyle,

It worked partly. The vertical borders at the header (between shopping bag and wishlist) is still the same though. How do I change that one?

    thanks a lot

    hi,

    it’s now live (sunnynovember.com).
In the meantime I have fiddled with the span and by making it span 7 and span 5 instead of 8 and 4 it looks much better. Not sure if it makes sense what I did to make it look properly outlined?

If there is a neater way to outline the menu next to the logo I would love to hear it.

To continue on an old question in this thread, I still need some help with the border color of the header menu (I was only able to change the top border color but I want to change the color of the vertical borders as well):
*I would like to change the color of the borders in between the menu (next to logo) in the header without changing the overall color of the Section divide color.
I can change the border color in the menu by changing Section divide color in the color customize options of the theme at “Color-Page” but I want to give the borders in the header a different color than the overall color of Section divide color of the pages.
*same goes for the border colors of the main menu (in between shopping bag and wishlist) as well as the vertical borders in the mini header. I would like to change these without changing the overall color of the Section divide color of the pages.

Sorry, hope this makes sense. Screenshots attached.

    thanks again!

    hi,

I have edited the php file and changed the span as you suggested but now the spacing of the menu is not working out great. Any tips on how to solve this?

    thanks again

    hi Mohammad,

I am referring to what you wrote previously:

“1. For logo container size -:
Open to edit sf-header.php at /neighborhood/includes/swift-framework/sf-content-display/”

I’m sorry but I don’t understand how to open this or where.
I have uploaded a large logo but I want to make it bigger than the limitations of the theme.

    thanks again

    hi Ed,

I am having the same issue. I used your code in a text widget in one of the footer columns and it indeed looks the same as the demo. However, how do I make it work…? I can see the envelop icon but you can’t click on it.
I opened a MailChimp account and did a Mailchimp List Setup within WordPress but have no idea how to proceed to link the two together.
Cheers very much for your help

    Kyra
