November 11, 2015 at 5:07 pm in reply to: Footer widgets not showing in child theme after update #227923Thank you David. I’ve now clicked to update the theme, but I haven’t activated it. I’ve left the activated one as the child theme. Is this the correct way to use the newest version of Neighborhood?
Thank you,
SarahNovember 6, 2015 at 12:46 pm in reply to: Footer widgets not showing in child theme after update #226615Hi David,
I’d like to update to the newest version of Neighborhood, but right now I’m using the older version’s child theme. If I update, will I lose the changes I made? How do I transfer them to the new theme – do I have to move them manually?
Thank you,
SarahJust set the topic to resolved 🙂
Hi Rui,
I discovered the issue was that I was uploading photos that were formatted for print, not for RGB (as described in this article http://www.howtogeek.com/70161/my-photos-look-different-on-the-internet-how-can-i-fix-them/). That fixed the problem. Just following up for anyone else in this support forum who encounters a similar problem.
Thank you for your help! 🙂

Hi Kyle and David,
I can actually show you part of the difference. If you take a look at my main page here http://ferdos.co.uk/ (second image in the slider), and the exact same image here http://ferdos.co.uk/index.php/product/tamarat/, you can see in the second that the image is not as bright

That worked! Thank you Rui and Mohammad
Hi Mohammad,
Almost! But that changed the color of the text, not the box
I just added it to General Options > Custom CSS but for some reason it’s not working, the notification is still teal color

Hi Kyle,
I’ve tried doing this and it works but the navigation is slightly off-center – I need to move it slightly to the left. You can check my link – ferdos.co.uk – to see this. Is there someway I can move it slightly?
Thank you,
