That did it. Thanks Mohammad.
July 21, 2016 at 1:09 am in reply to: How to change element setup, blog carousel vs recent posts #282789I was also hoping to remove the post-date from the recents posts element, so I was excited to find this code. Is it possible to remove the like and comment buttons too, as well as the white dashed line?
For reference the recents posts is the third element on the homepage of my site: http://crazywisefilm.com/
Thank you!
Thanks for clarifying Kyle. I have added a class of logline.
Sandy
Hi Mohammad,
All of the videos on our blog have the issue of not being responsive: http://crazywisefilm.com/2016/05/11/crazywise-bonus-clip-finding-meaning/
I don’t have the css code that you sent above active on the site because it makes the videos look like the screen shot that I sent you. If you activate the css code then you will see what I am referring to on any of the videos on our blog.
Thanks,
Sandy
Unfortunately I don’t know how to add an extra class :/
Thank Mohammad. That did work for the widgets. The video on our homepage is still working well too, but that was one that I had updated the link for with the Advanced Responsive Video Embedder. Now all the other videos on our blog that don’t have an update link look like the attached screenshot. I went ahead and revert the change until we can get the videos at the correct size. Maybe I can’t get around updating each individual link.

You must be logged in to view attached files.Thanks. It’s [email protected]
I am also having trouble updating past 3.18. I received a email that an update is available and then when I go to appearance/theme/dante, there is no update button available. Shall I also download that version from link below and install it via ftp?
Thank you Mohammad!
That worked! Thanks!
You can see I added a grid layout under the “boxed content” element and didn’t have the same issue with the red background.
The new update did fix my issue with recent posts. Thanks!
Hello. I checked with our hosting server and they said that GD Image Extension of PHP is enabled. Any other ideas why this may not be working?
Thanks!
Hello. I did try that already. I am logged in as the admin, I go to edit post, meta option, thumbnail options, upload thumbnail. It doesn’t seem to work?
Great! That works! Thank you!
