I have managed to get this working – you must select the categories you want to show in the Blog asset rather than show all. Cheers
Hi – I have done what is probably a dodgy hack on this by changing:
$order = “standard”;
to
$order = “title-asc”;
on lines 236 and 242 of sf-directory.php in the ‘core’ folder.
It seems to work as I suspect it changes the default setting but I know little of PHP and am sure there is a better way to do this?
MarkThanks – works a treat
Hi – I have tried that but it makes no difference. The asset filter keeps returning the posts in the order they were posted in. The plugin reorders them in the editor but not on the front end. Is there anything else we can do – I was told the ordering functionality would be working on the latest version of the theme. Mark
Hi David – just wondering if you have any developments on this. Thanks, Mark
Hi David – so I have used the Archive/Category Options but I still end up with the same result, that is, a broken layout which has space for two sidebars. See attachment. Can you talk me through the correct procedure for getting a sidebar onto a directory single listing page? I am using the latest version of both theme and plugin. Thanks, Mark
