    Wow @Sotiris!!

    Thanks so much for that very detailed description!!! Quite quite helpful; I really appreciate your taking the time.

    If you don’t mind my asking, what are the Intense Shortcodes you find yourself using most often that are not included in Cardinal?

    It’s people like you who share their efforts with such generosity that make the web a true community!

    @Sotiris

    Thanks so much for the detailed follow up.

    Just to clarify: With the recent updates to the Intense plugin what would be the procedure for adding an Intense shortcode to to a Cardinal page? You’d first update the page if you had made any changes, then you’d insert a Cardinal text box, insert the shortcode, and update again?

    Is there any way to use the ‘Content Section’ Intense shortcode with Cardinal elements? For example I’d like to insert a gravity form on a page with an full width parralax image in the background, but I’d need there to be a white background for just the content section. I can’t find a way to do it on Cardinal, but was hoping I’d be able to use the Intense ‘Content Section’ shortcode. The problem with that is that if I can only insert an Intense shortcode into a text box, I wouldn’t be able to use the Cardinal Gravity form asset within that Intense shortcode…

    Also, have you tested the speed of your site with and without the ‘Intense’ plugin. My fear is that with such a powerful theme and such a powerful plugin the site performance would begin to slow.

    Thanks so much!!

    What sort of custom CSS would I use to add space in a specific element on a specific page?

    Thanks!

    Want to make sure I understand what you’re saying. I should uninstall the Master Slider plugin, then reinstall and see what happens?

    Will my existing Master Sliders still remain? I built over 10 sliders and wouldn’t want to lose all of them.

    Thanks!

    How will the CSS know that its a custom class for the image banner? Will it detect that I’m creating a custom class on the image banner asset and then add the “.maimo” selector to the image banner CSS?

    Also, when I enter the class in the “Extra Class Name” field, if I wanted a class of maimo for example, do I enter “maimo” or “.maimo”?

    Thanks Kyle; your responsiveness is off the charts!!

    Sorry Kyle,

    I had deleted that additional class in the afternoon EST so that the image box could format properly.

    I’d be deeply appreciative if you’d point me to some sort of documentation or resource that will give me the details of using Extra Class Names in conjunction with Custom CSS to extend the core markup tools provided by the Cardinal theme.

    Once I’ve reviewed those materials I won’t have to bother you;-)

    Thanks!!

    Thanks; that’s very helpful!

    What about the space in between the 2nd and 3rd columns (see screenshot)?

    @Sotiris

    I’m certainly one of those users and very much appreciate your efforts!!

    Cardinal and Intense Builder are simply too good independently not to be able to work together!

    Best of luck

    @ Sotiris

    Thanks so much for your detailed feedback and your warning!!

    I wish you luck with getting your site back up and running, as well as in working with the developer of the Intense plugin to try and have it play nice with SwiftIdeas products.

    Look forward to hearing what happens…

    I must be doing something wrong with the “Extra Class Name”. I’ve attached a screenshot of the class name I assigned and my code reads:

    .image-banner-content.content-left .maimo {
    padding-right: 5%!important;
    margin-bottom: 0!important;
    }

    No luck. It’s not formatting properly. What am I doing wrong?

    Can you recommend a resource on using your “Extra Class Name” with custom CSS.

    Thanks again for all of your quick replies!

    Wow – you’re quick!!!

    2) I’ve added your custom CSS and that looks a lot better, but now the white background is evenly distributed on all borders except for the left. I’ve tried to add padding through custom CSS but that didn’t do anything.

    In terms of the container, you are correct that I can but columns in rows. What Visual Composer added was the ability to set margins, so for example I could shrink down the image at the bottom right of my page by -30px on each side. Is the only way to do that through custom CSS?

    Also, if I only wanted to make that image banner element -30px on all sides, but otherwise leave every other image banner by its original defaults, I’d imagine I’d have to add a custom class name and then add custom css for the class. I didn’t see any knowledgebase article on that. Would I simply put “maimo_image” (for example) in the “Extra Class Name” field and then add custom CSS that would read:

    .maimo_image {
    margin: -30px;
    }

    Any documentation you can give me on better utilizing custom CSS with the theme would be much appreciated!
