Problem FIXED!!
You guys are amazing.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
r 🙂
Hi there,
There are two issues:
1. client wanted the search bar, opposite to the logo. When enabled, the search bar isn’t aligned. See attached.
2. the spacing around the logo is uneven. Bottom spacing is too great. See attached.I need to have the search bar aligned with the logo, on the right side, and an equal amount of pixel spacing above and under logo.
Please let me know how to fix.
Many thanks,

You must be logged in to view attached files.Oh shucks, it isn’t working so well. If I want the logo at a size the client will approve (just 325px wide), I have to elect to omit the search window in that area or the up/down space in the logo area gets huge.
Even when I omit the search window and set the padding to zero, the bottom padding is too big. To view: http://www.ocqas.org/rebuild
Is there any way to get around this? Sorry – client has a wide logo – I can’t change this. That said, it’s only 325px wide.
Please let me know.
rHi Kyle,
I’m using the top bar nav, so menu items won’t be affected 🙂
Just need a bit more info: where in the css would i put that snippet? Not used to using css.
Let me know.
Thanks so much.

sOctober 24, 2014 at 4:24 pm in reply to: skype icon appearing next to phone # – spontaneously! #123026Hi Kyle,
Have checked plugins – no success there. I’ve deactivated everything but revslider and breadcrumbs and the icon still appears in two places:
• footer
• contact us page in main content areaStumped. Any ideas?
sYes, I continued to work on the problem yesterday. Found the answers I needed in the WP forums.
The real issue was that the logo was missing. this is because I copied all site files on my server to a second location and renamed the folder from the original. the site was searching for the logo in the old folder (found this out from viewing my website’s page source in a browser). so, i just recreated that folder and plopped the logo inside it. problem solved.
thx-sd

Thank you VERY much – the problem is resolved now.
The website is now WooCommerce enabled and working brilliantly. A big relief.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
ShiftdialogHi Ed,
Wow! Impressive. Thank you for isolating the problem. I am in touch with my host to make the adjustment. Please leave this thread as “in progress” until I can confirm that all is resolved, okay? Tuesday/Wednesday, latest.
Many thanks for your help.
ShiftDialogHi again, Ed,
I just noticed that the Search box doesn’t work either, when WooCommerce is activated. See home page, right side of main logo area.
Let me know your thoughts.
ShiftDialogHi Ed,
All plugins are up to date and WooCommerce is activated. Please see the following problems on my site when WooCommerce is activated (this happens ONLY when WC is activated):On home page (www.shiftdialog.com/test):
• drop down menu disappears from main nav (should be under “Change the World” link)
• design elements not working:
– % bars (see home page bottom, right side, under “interesting stats”)
– circles around phone/pencil/bolt/eye icons (just under the slider)
• posts don’t aggregate (home page bottom, left side)
• toggles break (home page bottom, middle)Many thanks for your help. I will be needing WooCommerce, so I hope we can fix this.
