Thank you – where can I find the answer to my other question?

Have you found a solution for this issue?

I wouldn’t say it’s fine but on version 1.5 of the theme and with Swift Framework 1.10 the performance is significantly better than on 1.51 or 1.52 with the Swift Framework versions that come with those.

Hi Ed, yes that’s the version that was causing trouble.

Yes woonio – based on my findings I’d say the performance issues will only become apparent if there’s a relatively large number of products in the database.

For everyone who loves Atelier but is facing performance issues (and is confident it’s not a hosting / server related issue) – here’s what worked for me as a temporary solution:

    – Delete the Swift Framework plugin
    – Rename the Atelier folder in your wp-content directory (or delete it and activate an alternative theme)
    – Install Atelier 1.50
    – Go to the Install Plugins section and install the Swift Framework

This will install an older version which still puts a load on the server but does not have as significant performance issues as the most recent one.

I hope the theme author will look into this shortly and provide an urgently needed update so that customers can benefit from the other fixes applied to the more recent versions of the theme.

On top of that, I copied the site to an enterprise VPS and had their support look at it, this is what they said:

”It also looks that majority of the slowness in the dashboard is coming from the Swift Framework plugin, specifically the spb_get_products() function which triggers nearly 8000 database queries. It seems the plugin tries to load all of the products from the database and then issues a query for each one of them which is causing performance problems with the catalogue of your size. I would suggest reaching out to the authors to see whether they can look at the performance of that functions and if it can be optimised to work better when there are many products.”

I hope this can be resolved urgently.

    Dear Rui,

I’m encountering the same issue which is rendering the entire site unusable.

I had WP Engine move my site to one of their highest plans and their engineers looked in the issue and identified the problems are caused by the Swift Framework plugin.

When disabling – the site speed doubled (!) – there are several open tickets on the board that refer to this performance issue, I really hope you can look into it as this is affecting live sites.

I have the same problem – the woocommerce product images (or product description area) seem to push the page content beyond the screen.

Thank you – I also noticed that there is no pagination available on the search results pages? Can we do an endless scroll (or add pagination) ?
    Appreciate the quick response!

    Thank you.

How do I get the search results to align nicely in even results?

Also, I managed to remove the date, author, comments etc. but how can I display the WooCommerce price in the search result listings?

    Thanks!
