The RSS Social Icon seems to have broken as well now, instead of coming up with the feed it is either blank of adds on the url of the post, category or just displays one link.

If you click on the RSS feed social icon from the home page, it works as it should and displays the last 10 posts.

I think my installation has gone wrong somewhere, especially with the spacing issue (the remove top and bottom post keeps unchecking them sleves)

It worked but, I’ve lost the ability to tell it how many words I want it to display, and I tried your way and that seems to work better, and I notice that some of it has been changed already, then I checked again and it changed back, crazyness.

OK i’m gonna stick with what you sait custom detail meta the post the video link in there for now, I think.

I would like the rss feed images in the location of the current rss feed for gibson, which is in widgets sidebar one on the left and it shows up on every post page, but not the home page, thanks Shane.

Jesus, I have no clue what is going on, but i changed the Archive Content Output to Excerpt and they are now displaying correctly again, I think I need a drink, soft and fizzy of course off to get some coke.

Oh no its come back again?? I’m sure there is something wrong with my install or the permissions, can you advise please,

The only way I could get rid of it was by creating a custom menu that links directly to the post and adding that to the side bar, although I shouldn’t have to do that it would be nice if i could just use the categories, I’ve alreay had to create custom menus for all the RGT section, then hide that category using a function, any ideas?

Yep you were spot on as soon as I put a custom excerpt in the post meta options, everything worked great, the thumbnail still shows in the post preview and no longer shows in the post.

And the video is now at the top of the page exactly as I wanted it, thanks Kyle your a genius and your help is greatly appreciated.
