Much more noticeable in safari, but it is evident in all browsers.
I have tried lots of icon shortcut code but can’t get it to work, the icons are always too big.
Could you give me an example of code to get a small icon the size of the text so it just sits next to it?
Kyle I added that css and it fixed it for the home page but when I am on any other page e.g. http://wordpress6.azurewebsites.net/home/foreign-exchange-for-importers/ the menu is still dissapearing e.g. if you hover over about and then move through the sub menus.
I think this might have something to do with the page heading/breadcrumbs? not too sure.
Because it seems to work better on pages like home and contact which dont have this blue page heading bar.
Thanks, that fixed the issue.
Last thing, you know under the Services menu some of the sub menu words/titles are too long so they get cut off “…”. When I was using mega menu the sub menu box like expanded so it took up two lines. Is there any way I can achieve this using the normal menu? (screenshot attached)
Hi sorry to bother you again, but I have just been advised that we would like to stick to the normal menu style so I was wondering if there is a solution for the issue I was having, in regards to the small gap between the sub menus and the menu bugging out/dissapearing.
That did the trick, thanks!
I believe that bit of CSS was for an issue I was having with breadcrumbs, refer to this thread: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/heading-options/
Thanks Kyle! looking much better.
What do you mean by adjust this? I am not really sure what that bit of code does as I got it from the forums, what should I adjust it to?
And also I have noticed that between firefox, chrome and internet explorer, it displays differently, in some it shows a gap between main menu and drop down sub menu and in others there is no gap. I would like to have it so there is no gap between the main menu and sub menu. (Screenshot attached)
This reply has been marked as private. Also having issues with the menu bugging out. It’s more noticable in explorer but basically for the “about” menu and its sub menus etc. when opening the menu or going back and forth between level 3, level 2, level 1 menus etc the menu just dissapears?
I am not sure if this is what is causing it but there seems to be a small gap between the level 2 and 3 menus e.g. between “disclosure information and Privacy” and between “Help” and “Frequently asked questions”. maybe since there is a very small gap it thinks we are clicking off the menu?
Also at the top level main menu is there a way to add a bit more space between the main menu and its sub menu for e.g. between about and disclosure information. Because when going from disclosure information to privacy it sometimes goes to the Contact main menu since they are basically touching which once again causes the menu to close.
Thanks! that fixed it for the normal menu but is there any way to fix the mega menu issue?
I have disabled the mega menu functionality for now.
I have enabled natural width mega menu on the ‘about’ menu item.
It looks completely messed up š any idea what could be causing this to happen?
Screenshot attached.
Nevermind, fixed question 1.
Still need help with question 2. “Any idea how I can make the breadcrumb say āhomeā instead of āsbelmonteā?”
Thanks! it worked.
Two more questions:
1.If you go to this link – http://wordpress6.azurewebsites.net/frequently-asked-questions/, the breadcrumb should say sbelmonte>about>help>Frequently Asked Questions, BUT it only says sbelmonte>Frequently Asked Questions?
2.Any idea how I can make the breadcrumb say ‘home’ instead of ‘sbelmonte’?
I added the custom css and still not working.
Also how can I change the sbelmonte to say ‘Home’.
