Same Problem here. It seems its a generic form, so probably not a good idea to hide by css.

Any answers on this one please ? On the screenshot, the yellow is highlighted by firebug inspect.
I don’t think there is any theme on and off option. But if you go to Theme Options > Social Profiles and remove the link/username, the icons will be removed.
