Is there no way in css to have a background image until the video loads?

So in the NEW Presents parallax section (2 down from slider) on the home page, you are getting a video background in firefox?

Please see screenshot of meta settings. In dante page meta, there is no place to ‘Remove Top Spacing’ or ‘Remove Bottom Spacing’

Update: Actually it seems that it’s not my spacer – it’s the space that’s there by default. How can I adjust this space On the top (below the slider) and bottom (above the footer) of the website. I would like the space height to be the same as the menu area.

If it’s causing some user computers to slow down, would it help to cut the video length in half? Open to any suggestions.

Are you sure this is correct? Dante has a field for youtube and many other themes use youtube parallax background.

ALSO, is there a way to have the top of the horizontal image be aligned with the top of the available space so the head of the person in the image doesn’t get cropped?

Basically, I need the top edge of the image to be shown and not cropped when people land on the home page. I’m using a weird hack with photoshop that I’d prefer not.

Do I need to put the . in the css parameter or leave it out the way you did?

Also in the actual css, is the .my-homepage-parallax directly connected to .spb_parallax_asset.parallax-fixed or do I leave a space like this:

.spb_parallax_asset.parallax-fixed .my-homepage-parallax

Thanks Ed. That works better overall, but the menu is still shifted left a little. Can you advise?
