Thanks for the reply Kyle. Strange it must not have updated straight away when i made the changes yesterday. The problem is, I don’t know what fixed it, and have discovered another of our sites based on Dante has the same problem. http://www.mcfillin.com.au if you could see the issue there. Is this an issue with an earlier Dante version?
cheers Kurt
Looks like they are having server issues there – but if you hit refresh on http://www.envisageit.com.au they will appear.
In any event, here is a comparison so you can see the issue. On http://www.getzouing.com.au the header is covering at least half the slider when you go to an iPhone.
To me it’s a no-brainer as part of the structure of the page builder that anything should just fit a column assuming it is the right size. I’m surprised that it can’t do it, and given that the divs should just “fit”, further surprised that it hasn’t been coded to work in the work-around way that you suggested (which, like you, was my next thought of what should work).
Don’t suppose Ed could suggest a code workaround to stop the portfolio items from doing funny things when placed in the columns?
cheers, Kurt
Tried that and as many other variations as I could think of and it either makes the thumbnails too big, or too small with blank area.
Sorry, re-updated the theme and the problem seems to have been fixed.
ThanksCould someone please respond to this, we have been putting numerous clients onto your themes but are now running into this very serious issue with them. We have not had this problem with other themes at all so it is not a problem with the plugin.
The lack of support or any response to this is holding us up on a number of website builds.
Thanks
DOn’t worry – fixed it.
Hi Melanie,
That worked for the heading but the portfolio thumbnail titles still have the same problem.
cheers, Kurt
Helloooooo…???
Any help to correct this would be appreciated. As I noted above, the Google font that is being cropped has only had its size adjusted within Dante, with no CSS changes, yet I am losing the bottom of the characters…
Thanks Tahir, it has raised the line of text, but the bottom of the text is still chopped off with lower hanging letters like g j etc. how can I correct this?
(css has not been altered outside of the Dante settings)
cheers, Kurt.
BTW, Current version of theme, current WP 3.81. Error happens on current FF, IE & Chrome.
Hi mate – first make sure the social accounts are set within the theme, then open a page / post and use the social shortcode to generate the shortcode that you then drop in a text/code widget.
cheers, Kurt
Don’t worry my wife fixed it for me. 🙂
Thanks very much for that! Works a treat.
