Installed 1.51,
and actually its not ok. Still have the problem described above.
Ah,
this was fixed in 1.51, installed it..
Thanks!
thats working perfectly! 🙂
Well,
Google knows styling a bit too. Like if you try cheap tricks like adding white text on a white background or set “display: none” to the h1 –> they will punish the site. I’d say it is not a safe bet to try out anything like this.
So this means: when unchecking “page title”, add H1 manually to the page content. Just my two cents.
Ok!
Same page heading = title + h1, but hidden?
I’m not an SEO expert but as far as I understand, Google doesn’t like tricks like hiding the h1. Title is metadata so it is “hidden” anyways. BUT H1 should be visible on page, just plain normal with no tricks.
Yea,
Page Title (metadata) is even more important! Having no title on page is very bad for seo. Also make sure this “hidden title” won’t conflict with title inserted with seo plugin, such as WordePress Seo by Yoast (industry standard). Many usera use a seo plugin to add custom titles.
Hi,
I tried this but it just results less inset shadow on all sides (top, right, bottom, left).
Did you notice I’m using rows (with fixed image) not parallax elements?
Hi,
If I have “show page title” UNCHECKED on page –> I don’t seem to have H1 either on page. So I need to use H1 in content somewhere (for SEO best practice). Am I right?
Hi,
here is a screenshot of layer slider’s user interface, where you can set the font size for text. The 70px I have set didn’t work, i had to use .h2-ls-l.
The sizing works normally when I have set content / text to paragraph (p). It won’t work when I set it to H2.
I have no idea where does layer slider output its CSS…

thanks for the info. I guess i have to add the H1 to the content in this case…
Hi,
yes I used h2.ls-l for a temporary fix. However it is not perfect solution, since it forces me to use same formatting for all h2 content in layer slider, which is not very flexible design-wise.
I tested changing h2 size in Cardinals font options –> yes it does change the h2 is layer slider too.
It would be much better if we could use layer sliders more flexible formatting options here so we could format any text content just as we like.
Ok thanks,
good to know it is going to be fixed!

yes this is what I tried. But as I explained it doesn’t do exactly what I need. I need to target only the _portfolio single pages_ with this CSS, not all the page headings. Is there a way to target only the portfolio page headings with this CSS? Thanks!
