sorry forget that last bit. why can i not apply formatting at all? it’s all just a text block even though there is an editor there? no <p>
also what happens re pagination as i have 180 to add?
it seems crazy that the except and link to another page does not work.
also if you look at the code on this page http://www.prosecco.club/producers-directory/ you can see that there should be something within <div class=”item-meta”><span>|</span></div>
<div class=”directory-item-details”>
<h3>Abbazia Follina, Follina</h3>
<div class=”item-meta”><span>|</span></div>
<div class=”excerpt” itemprop=”description”>
my text hereAlso, why is none of this text formated? I presume because it should just be the excerpt?
hi, that doesn’t make sense because we can see clearly here http://www.prosecco.club/?post_type=directory how it is mean to work. IE an excerpt with a link to full page
Hi, That’s my point, I have added an excerpt you can see that on this page http://www.prosecco.club/?post_type=directory but it is not working on this page http://www.prosecco.club/producers-directory/. On the second page it does not show the excerpt it just showers the full information which I don’t want until you click in to it.
One other question re the directory, I will be adding around 200 in total will it paginate it and if so how to I control how many posts per page?
thank you!
okay. do you know when that might be?
cool cheers.
October 31, 2014 at 10:46 am in reply to: Child Theme included, and documentation to help you make the most out of it. #124730Okay that’s easy enough thanks. Do the “documentation to help you make the most out of it” exist?
hi, that looks too complicated for me. Also, I would like to remove the email link as this tries to open the users email software which they may not have on the computer they are on.
so my question is can i remove this share option altogether and use the one from jetpack instead? i have installed and setup jetpack sharing but it is not working because the theme one is overruling it.
hi, i am still having problems with this. there must be a way to solve this with one simple piece of code? all i want is for bullets/list to work in a standard way. this should not need custom.
anyway, the lists work as they should on this page:
http://181.224.135.157/~olivemas/www.productmanagementtraining.com/coaching/but not this page:
http://181.224.135.157/~olivemas/www.productmanagementtraining.com/consultancy/here is the code i’m using so far to “solve” this…
.fa-chevron-right{
color: #00aeef!important;
}ul.sf-list{
margin-left:45px !important;
}.sf-list li i {
left: 40px;
margin-right: 8px;
margin-top: 6px;
position: absolute;}
.spb_text_column ul, .box-content-wrap ul {
list-style: none outside none !important;
} css at all, it should just workAre the “png image of your icon image” part of the theme and if so how do i get them?
forget that i’ve sorted it by adding between
hi, sorry more formatting issues…
for some reason <p> do not seem to be working on this page where i have used class=”impact-text” http://181.224.135.157/~olivemas/www.productmanagementtraining.com/consultancy/
if you look at the block of text at the top of the page which starts with “Tarigo’s high-quality and flexible…” there is a <p> before “Our consultancy services…” bu it is only dropping it like a <br>. I need a full line paragraph space?
hi, sorry i don’t think i’m explaining properly. i get what your saying but as there is only one default template (except for the two holding page ones) this means that from what you’re saying i can only set one sidebar option into that default template? However I have two areas of my site that pull from the default template; one it the individual blog posts and one is (in effect) individual event posts (from a plugin). However I want these two “posts” to use a different sidebar. Is this possible?
do you mean on each individual post? that is not ideal at all. there must be a simple way to choose a sidebar to be used for blog post without being restricted to “default”?
