I figure it out. I was having an issue with the viewport filter.

I figured out the social media icons.. I had Adblock Plus on which hid them. but I still can’t seem to find a way to allow zoom feature on tablets and mobile devices

I’m trying to do the same thing.. I want to be able to zoom on tablets and mobile devices. How can I do this with this theme.
