That doesn’t work unfortunately. In previous versions this automatically worked – basically I presume the idea of a ‘carousel’ is exactly what it says and should do this as a default?

Thanks for that it worked perfectly. Do the testimonials in the carousel no longer automatically scroll through each individual testimonial? It seems the ‘next’ arrow has to be clicked on to move through them when this never used to be the case?

Did you just try this and activate the twenty fifteen theme? I went back in and this theme was activated?! I have switched it back to dante child theme and it appears to have fixed itself. However, for future reference, how do I update the child theme with the new parent theme files as I have been having a few issues on this site.

In relation to the above, as it is now a couple of weeks since I was working on this site, I just get a blank page now when I try to navigate to the wordpress admin login.

I can get to the site by going to http://strategicfd.mikelynch.co.uk/ but when I go to http://strategicfd.mikelynch.co.uk/wp-admin it is just blank.

I presume I will now need to overwrite/replace the theme through FTP? I just need some small guidance so I don’t lose the entire site!

I have the child theme activated – do I need to replace Dante and its child theme through FTP?

I have fixed the issue manually which was not ideal but there are still the other issue in place that I mentioned above i.e. the element spacing button.

There seems to be one more problem after another now. When I go to add a content element, some of the elements are not appearing – i.e. I am trying to add an image element but it is not showing.

When I created a new pages as a test, it showed all the elements – just not on existing pages.

I could really do with some help as my client is on my case big time!

Also, are there some major flaws with the new update? I am trying to fix the above problem and when I go to edit the row, I switch to full width content and then save. When I go back into the row to make another edit, it has switched back to Standard Width content.

The next problem I can see is that when I try to switch to ‘YES’ on the ‘Remove element spacing’ the butoon just doesn’t work and won’t allow me to switch.

If you could get back to me ASAP with a quick fix rather than editing all over again it would be much appreciated.

Just to clarify, I have the child theme activated.

Once I delete the theme and then reinstall, will I have to go through all the settings and put them in place again?

My main fear is that I will have to reset all the swift page layouts for each page and the design of the site.

Would I only have to replace some PHP files by FTP?

Do I need to remove the existing version first or will the new upload write over it?

The last thing I need is settings and page layouts going a bit all over the place!

I have tried updating to the latest version of Dante but I still get the same problem.

Every time I want to update/save/publish/post etc. I just get a white screen

I have installed another site as a subdomain using the dante theme to test things out and there is no issue whatsoever. It is since I pasted some code into the theme editor and then removed it that the problem is occuring.

If you could help ASAP it would be greatly appreciated.

I switched to the normal dante theme and then back to the child theme and the full page width seems to have fixed itself.

Regarding the titles on the page, is this a known issue that will be resolved?

I have also just noted that the site is no longer full width and spacer settings are not what I had them initially set at!

That worked perfectly thanks with the only exception being that the blog title is still in white.
