Thanks Mohammad… but I’m trying to do something specific here. I want the second level menu in front of the first level menu. Offsetting them vertically is part of the design. lining them up vertically instead just avoids the issue.
Z-index is a tricky thing, and I just can’t seem to get it.
Thanks. Other ideas?
Thanks… Can you elaborate?… I can’t get it. Is one image the thumb and the other the popup image displayed?
Thanks!
Thanks Mohammad. Please run this past Ed. It’s a CSS thing, Isn’t it? Not structural.
My original screenshot above demonstrated it. You can see the white rule from the 1st level drop down, on top of the 2nd level dropdown.
Thanks
Thanks Mohammad. But I want them to overlap. I want the 2nd level to have that negative left margin… and stay on top of the 1st level drop down. So the issue is z-index I’m assuming. The rest of the 1st level menu is behind the 2nd level… but that 1 px rule is still on top of the 2nd level menu items.
Another stab at it?
The other one… for 2 lines… works great.
Thanks!!
Thanks…

Uner the first menu… Bing Maps… there is an example.
Also… can you tell me how to have longer menu names break into two lines, instead of being cut off with dots, etc.?
Thanks Mohammad
Thanks. It moves them, but a specific amount. So it’s not responsive. I need them centered always.
I also tried to find the font size for these, on mobile resolution only, so I can make them smaller on mobile. Can’t find it. Can you direct me?
Thanks!
Yep. Thanks again Kyle!!
How can I do the same thing for the AJAX search box dropdown?… so they are the same?
Thanks!
you are the f-ing MAN. Thank you. That’s what I was trying to do and couldn’t get it.
Great support. Thank you!!
This is where I tried adjusting the top margin. see attached…
Nothing on these menus yet. I just turned mega menus off and this is the way they were. I found the margin effecting the top vertical position, but it effects it the same whether it’s regular or sticky… so there’s this discrepency, etc.
ok, will try that. Do you suppose it matter that I’m using the WooCommerce shortcode to place those products on that page?
Thanks Kyle.
I’m trying to adjust the vertical position of the drop downs, so they are basically the same distance from the main menu items triggering them, wither a full header of sticky header are displayed.
I seems there is only one setting for this… and so whatever margin I add at the top of these, it’s either too tight on the regular header, or too loose on the sticky header… see the difference between the two attached screenshots.
Thanks
