Thanks, Ed.
I’m looking to do a layout with one fat column (5/6 or 3/4) and a skinny column (the 1/6 that’s included). I can do what I’d like with a 3/4 + 1/6….but I can’t seem to have those centered on the page. Is there an easy way to center these horizontally within a row so that there’s the same space on both left side and rights side of the content?

Thanks, Kyle. To clarify a bit more: I’m creating and using custom posts primarily so that the search results are more clearly labelled. Rather than have only page and post as headings in the ajax list, I’m finding it very user friendly to identify what the content is–product, feature, etc.
So my next question: Is it possible to change the label within the search results to show category rather than post or page type? If that were configurable, I could do everything as standard posts and drop the custom work.
Will do, but is there a reason it started appearing? It didn’t till yesterday and it doesn’t show in the Cardinal demos online.

Thanks so much for the quick reply!
I’d like to have a new type of post format used for items in the category “review” that uses a slightly different layout than what I get by adding a new post–basically, I’d like to be able to override the default formatting I get in a standard new post.
Creating the category isn’t a problem, but when I copy single.php to my child theme and rename it “single-reviews.php” I can’t get the content to display in the new template. Basically, I’m unclear on what steps I need to take to override the default formatting in the template.
Both themes are installed on the server and the child theme is active per standard protocol.
