    Hi Ed,

I have the rocket loader enabled.

I just disabled it and tried and it seems to be the same… I’ll leave it disabled for now so you can test. Let me know if it works on your end.

    Thanks!

    Hi Ed,

I disabled the CloudFlare minification but it’s the same problem on Chrome… I cleared my browser cache and it’s still the same. I’ll test again in a few hours after the CloudFlare cache is regenerated…

In the meantime could you try on Chrome and tell me if it loads on your end? It’s here : cookiesbymatt.com

    Thanks!
    Matt

    Hi everyone!

I’m having the exact same problem. Works fine on Safari, FireFox, Opera, iPhone Safari… but not on Chrome… I’m also using CloudFlare and HTTPS.
It might be CloudFlare minification option but it’s strange that it’s only on Chrome.

I also noticed that if you reload the site a second time on Chrome it works fine the second time.

    Any idea?
    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi Rui,
    Hi David,

I’m happy to let you know that version 2.1.2 of the theme solved the problem on PHP 7.0.7 ! I have tested the theme on a staging site for now and will push live soon, but it should be the same on the live site.

I’ll let you know if anything comes up.

    Thanks for you help!
    Matt

    Hi Rui,

Thank you for your answer. I will test again on a different site that is also on PHP 7.0.7 on staging and let you know. Just to make there isn’t a specific issue on the current test site.

All SiteGround users on PHP 7 automatically get 7.0.7 (see attached) so if the problem persists on my live site and my test site I guess I won’t be the only one…

    I hope we’ll find a solution soon…

    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi Rui,

I can’t revert to PHP 7.0.6. SiteGround has only made 7.0.7 available as they say it’s more stable that 7.0.6. But Atelier 2.0 was working fine on 7.0.7 can you send me the theme files for Atelier 2.0 so I can revert to that version while you mange to find the error in the swift framework?

    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi again Rui,

I asked SiteGround to investigate on their end to see if the problem could be on the server side. They say it’s theme related… Attached is the response they gave me…

Did you test the theme on PHP 7.0.7 which released last week? (PHP 7.0.7)

    Thanks!
    Matt

Yes that’s the only thong I have in it. And it’s the error log.
Now I only have one line (see attached).

What should I do? This is just a test website but my “real” website has the same configuration. It works fine on PHP 7 and Atelier 2.0 but I can’t update if the theme doesn’t work…

    Here is the error log.
I was using Atelier 2.0 on PHP 7 without any problems…
    Do you have any ideas?

    Hi Mohammad,

    It’s still the same. I updated to 2.1.1 and it doesn’t work with PHP 7. I get a 500 error…

When I tried on 5.6.22 it works. The site is still on PHP 7, do you want me to leave it like this so you can test?

    Thanks

    Hi Rui,

I spoke all day with SiteGround and performed a lot a tests they concluded that their HHVM installation is not compatible with the theme and Woocommerce, at least for now.
They have a custom installation I guess and you just have a ON/OFF in cPanel switch to activate HHVM on you server so I don’t really have much information, except that for now it doesn’t work!

If others want to try, backup everything first. It caused the site to go offline 3 times and we had to perform a full site + database restore.

    Thank you for the support!

    Hi Rui,

Ok thanks I’ll let the tech team at SiteGround know that the theme is compatible and it should work.
I’ll let you know here if they fix it so other people can benefit from the solution.

    Thanks!
    Matt
