Hi Mohammed –
unfortunately, I didn’t check the results of what you did in all browsers
the fix works perfectly with Firefox (latest version) on a Mac
Safari – the sticky header doesn’t display the logo or navigation and distorts the header when the full size header is returned to – the distortion is only corrected by navigating to another page
Chrome – distorts the header when the full size header is returned to – the distortion is only corrected by navigating to another page
it’s critical for me to fix this
thank you so much for your timely support ‘o’
thanks, Kyle –
i’ve tried but not been able to find the customizer areas that control the settings that I illustrated in the screenshots – i’m hoping you can tell me which options control the
a) color and rollover over color of the mobile menu and shopping cart icon
b) on the mobile menu itself, the color and rollover color of the menu text and menu backgroundthank you so much
here are screenshots of the theme in mobile mode
i want to change the menu and shopping cart icon color and rollover colorand on the menu itself – the text, rollover, and background (static and hover) color
how would i do this?
thanks
thank you SO much, Mohammed!
it would be helpful for me to know how you fixed it – can you describe that?
1 small question, so I won’t have to open another thread – where would I change the colors for the side (mobile) menu text and background, and the mobile menu icon and shopping cart icon?
thanks again for fixing the header issue ‘o’
OK Mohammed –
I removed the custom CSS from Custom CSS/JS tab of Theme Options and the sticky header is still not re-sizing, so it appears to be an issue with the theme or installation – feel free to cut and then paste back that CSS that Kyle gave mei’d really like to be able to use the sticky header feature!
i checked the Dante demo and it’s a bit unclear as to sticky resizes (it looks like MAYBE a few pixels if at all), but it should if you’ve included fields in the Header Theme Options to specify the full size logo and the sticky one
in other words – specifying the full size logo height seems to define the height of the sticky header
please advise as soon as you’re able
thank you so much ‘o’
thanks Mohammad ‘o’
it’s
.page-id-7606 #header {
background: url(“http://5polmhwz1w47vy1h4f015h97s.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/slider_bkg_nebula.jpg”);
}with my image URL substituted and inserted in the Custom CSS field Theme Option
this was a solution to display an image in the header suggested by Swift support guy Kyle, here –
http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/wordpress-thumbnails-wont-show-after-impor/#post-56598
thanks so much for trying to fix this ;o
i have the sticky header turned off, but of course you’ll figure that out when you go in
thanks, Mohammad ‘o’
is there a way to then to have a BG image in the header and still have the sticky header functioning correctly? i’d really like to to have both going on
i look forward to your response
alright – i solved the problem with page builder by deactivating the Ultimate TinyMC – they definitely were conflicting, and you might want to look into that / page builder actually had to be re-installed ‘o’
and i fixed the logo issue by removing some padding around the logo and re-sizing it
but the sticky header problem still exists – i thought perhaps that it might be related to the custom CSS that I added to include a BG image in the header…i’m pretty sure that the sticky header was working properly (re-sizing) when I installed the theme.
let me know what you find
thank you
Ok – whatever you’re doing or did has DISABLED, corrupted or deleted my page builder…it either won’t load, or if it does, it says that I haven’t added any content to a page that i was developing with page builder
and the logo is distorting badly – i can’t work until you’ve helped me resolve this
please advise ASAPthank you
This reply has been marked as private.thank you so much for that careful reply, Melanie ;D
i’m still curious as to the function/purpose of the header opacity slider in the header option tab
when would i use that?Hi Melanie – thanks for responding to my question ;o
i initially asked (post 3 in this thread) how to replicate the transparency that appears in your demo on the “naked header” home page example. Kyle (in post 4) referred me to your online documentation for that –
http://support.swiftideas.net/knowledgebase/replicating-the-demo-naked-header-example/my question regarding transparency in the header section of Dante is : : :
what is the purpose and function of the transparency value slider option in the Header tab of the Theme options? **see attachmentif I need to enter additional .css into the Custom CSS/JS field in Theme Options in order to achieve transparency, what is then the function of that slider? Will it be functional after I enter the code?
sorry for bringing up multiple issues in one ticket ‘o’

my priority now is to be able to place a background image in the header area so that the navigation and logo appear above that image (hopefully including the top header area/bar/widget area) – hopefully the code that Kyle gave me (post 7) will allow that
.page-id-7606 #header {background: url(“http://5polmhwz1w47vy1h4f015h97s.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/slider_bkg_nebula.jpg”);}
there’s a period preceding the page ID in his example, should it be there?
can I do this for multiple pages and do i need to specify the page ID and insert this code for each page that I want to display a background image in the header?is there anything else I need to do to place a background image into the header other than adding this code?
do i need to change any other settings?
for instance, do i ALSO need to apply the transparency CSS to allow the background image to appear in the header, or change any other settings or options?finally, can I insert multiple custom CSS definitions into the Custom CSS/JS field in Theme Options?
if so, do i insert the code in any particular way or orderthanks so much for your help
hey Kyle 0
since I need to enter that .css code to create the transparency, what is the function of the slider control for header transparency in the header options?
thank you
thanks, Kyle – i’ll see how it all works and leave this topic open while i do ;O
thanks for the super quick response, wherever you are ‘o’
one last question for now…where do I enter that code that you posted?
