Ahhhh! Sneaky – I hadn’t seen that bit before.
Advanced options > post type override?

Thanks for the quick reply.
Where exactly, because I’ve had a good look and can’t find anything.
Many thanks.

I’m currently using Cardinal and a custom post type.
Many thanks.
Hi Kyle – you’re right, I knew it was under something!
So will your general options enable that?
I don’t know why I’m asking!! 🙂
Hi Kyle,
I think this thread is about being able to add breadcrumbs underneath the slider.
Lorraine
Hi @basoncia,
There isn’t an option to place your breadcrumbs where you want them within Yoast. You need to add the code to your page, either directly into the template itself, or you could add it to a row in your page by using the Insert PHP plugin that I mentioned.
How far have you got so far?
Lorraine
Thanks Kyle!
Hi,
The issue seems to be with posts that use the classic editor and not the Swift page builder. If I move the content into the page builder, the sidebar pulls through ok.
I have updated the header.php file to the most recent one, and if I change a classic editor post to include a sidebar it seems ok.
I have set the default sidebar in the options but it isn’t pulling into the posts. This one for example, is for some reason centered in a narrower column, and not pulling the sidebar though: http://www.bunburyagency.com/causes-parkinsons-disease/
Bit weird!
Also, the twitter feed still isn’t working. I’m getting the same errors as last time (null), and not sure why. I’ve used this plugin on loads of sites before without issue. Could it be a server issue? I’m not hosting this site, and there have been quite a few issues.
Many thanks,
LorraineOh god, sorry, I meant wish list for future updates for theme!! Bad turn of phrase considering you have a feature with the same name 🙂
Just the ability to set a specific sidebar on the page. So in addition to being able to set the position of the sidebar i.e. left, right or both; also the option to choose your sidebar, as at the moment you have to choose the same sidebar for all pages. Or have I got that wrong?
Ah right ok, perhaps one for the wish list? 🙂
I’ve since added a custom sidebar widget, and set the default page sidebar which I then change using the plugin options. Works ok, but if there’s a better way…
So if I keep the name as Cardinal, but change the folder name, it will still update automatically? If I do it that way, what should I set the Template name to in my child theme? I’m aware that the link to the parent stylesheet would be the folder name that I changed it to.
February 27, 2015 at 1:24 pm in reply to: Posts not displaying properly / Tweets not working #153789Hi,
I’ve updated to the latest version and the blog posts on this site are still looking dreadful: http://www.bunburyagency.com/ageing-biggest-challenge/
Huge white space underneath and no sidebar pulling through.
Please help me!
Lorraine
How do you change the directory name??
I always use FTP to install as otherwise WordPress falls over!
