Hi, is there a way to bring font loading to the beginning or pre-load the font? I would really like to use the google font?

Ive stopped using the google font and the issue has gone away. I am assuming there was an issue with the loading of the font quickly.

Hi,

I turned off all the plugins and left the swift framework active. It didnt have the switching issue, but I think thats because it just loads super quick as there are no sliders active. As soon as I turn on rev slider, it adds a bit of lag to the loading and then you see the switch. I think the problem is in the loading of the page/fonts. Is there a way for you to quickly review the CSS and see if there is a problem there?

this is still happening. It is also happening on all my colleagues machines and also totally external machines that have never accessed it before. Are you sure you are not getting a flick between standard font and google font on load up of each page? Look at the menu bar.

I’ve attached screen shots comparing the two fonts during loading to show it is happening.

Right, ive deactivated the plugins that do the shortcodes and started implementing them through your shortcode generator. The list is currently showing like the attached.

Is there a way to get the writing in line (i.e. second line doesnt start below the icon) and also to remove the underline?

Yes, I think my colleague didn’t realise font awesome came bundled, as I used it in your Dante theme and it was really easy. That said, once I deactivate the other plugins, I still cant get it to recognise font awesome codes without putting it in the below format…

Im sure in Dante, all I had to do was [fa fa-user] or something to that effect. What should the typical usage be like in Uplift?

Hi Mohammed, its a bit awkward as I need the fontawesome shortcodes. is this one of the plugins that comes with the theme to enable font awesome? If so, i need to find out why it is causing the issues, as I need it.

went through plugins and deactivated individually. Font Awesome Shortcodes plugin was the issue.

I am talking about the drop down options with the black arrows, which indicate that they are available

Hi, Tried that and it doesn’t seem to be working – fonts still flash as a basic font and then seem to change to what has been set in the theme. Im just wondering what could cause this and if its an easy fix.

Hi, looks like we might of fixed this by changing header type and making full width. Not ideal but workable unless you have an alternative?
