Hi Rui,
Hello,
I’m experiencing the same problem trying to import Shop Demo 4 on wp-install coloringreen.wpengine.com.
Page says “This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number”

I’m on WP Engine as you can see.
thx!
KurtHi, glad to let you know the issue was resolved by doing a double reset :
– site reset
followed by -wpml reset through support, advanced “discard all translation info”and then start over. So somewhere in the process we’ve managed to mess up something in the database that did not resolve afterwards or left traces, unless by a full restart.
Thank you for your patient support and above all: still loving your theme, have now planned to reuse it for 2 of my customers!
— cheers! Kurt

I’ve just deactivated the WPML plugin and the portfolio comes back on. So as I said earlier: doesn’t that show a compatibility issue between WPML and SwiftIdeas’ Cardinal theme, more specifically with the portfolio Element in the Swift Page Builder?
Interesting observation: I’ve added a page PortfolioII(showcase) that uses the Portfolio-showcase element. That does continue to function regardless of WPML being active or not.
So I deduct the problem resides somewhere within the way your Portfolio element functions…
As you have access feel free to change whatever elements you desire to look for yourself what happens with or without WPML.
Looking forward to hearing your observations!
kind regards,

1) memory problem correct, is solved
2) 100% sure that we are on the latest theme and WP versions. Nevertheless, portfolio element not working correctly as you can see here http://test.cantilis.eu/?page_id=11133
Problems include
– images not showing
– no correct clickthrough to portfolio posts-Kurt
