    Hi Kyle

Sorry but that is just not true

I did amend the sizing before by altering the css (within a dante child theme) by using firebug to see the values but just couldn’t quite get it right.
I thought this css would be an easy fix for you – but apparently not?…

    Hi Kyle

I used the Swift Video to add the video but although I have added a class – provider-video – to it I was not sure which css needed altering to do what I needed as the defaults overlay top and bottom as explained earlier?

    Hi Kyle

I have the same issue with updating plugins at the moment so I did actually ftp over a new plugin version folder – that works ok – so I suspect that would also work for the theme – HOWEVER I want it to work with auto updates through control panel – as it should as this is so much quicker/easier.

Can you not see anything else wrong?

    Cheers

    Hi Mohammad

Sorry I missed the loop=0 parameter in your code- yes that works ok now thanks.
This now gives me a delay and a loop ok

    [embed width="560" height="315"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1nsLMDOHa8&loop=1&t=1s[/embed]

However I had looked at that ref url topic before contacting you as it had not worked so is no different
(is is exactly the same method)

Using the shortcodes ( 2 ways – inside the text block from the menu and from the Elelments menu for the full screen video) the video input screen generates
    [sf_fullscreenvideo type=”icon-button” btntext=”” imageurl=”” videourl=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1nsLMDOHa8&loop=1&t=1s” extraclass=””]

However the loop and the time do not work for either of these (whether I use #t=1 or t=1 )

    Is something else amiss?

    Thanks

    Hi

    I want 3 cols – I have 3 cols through structure ALONE

Adding the sf-mega-menu-5col css does nothing different…

    My question is why not?

    Hi Kyle

With that option turned off then as expected I no longer have ANY mega menu and the top menu gives me 3 sub-items (as per the structure) which then give the rest of the sub-items.

This is understandable but NOT what I was after

I wanted to use just the class WITHOUT having to structure the menu – otherwise what is the point of the class as it wont convert the structure of say 3 colsd to 4 or 5 with just a simple class chnage?

    Hi

Ah I see so that would then enable the css classes?

I will give it a go

    Hi Kyle

Yes the !important makes all the difference!

You didn’t respond to my question about the child theme and js files?

    thanks

    Hi Kyle

That is what I did initially and as I said in my first email it did NOT work

I then looked at the source code to see why not and saw that the js (presumably) had written in a style for padding-top which was then what was used by the browser (checked in Web Developer)- NOT the value that I had in the css…

Surely it is possible to over-ride js functions using child themes for Dante (as I believe you can with other Themes) else you would need to remember all changes that you had made to effectively core code (I thought that was the point of child themes and why WP had introduced them?)

    Cheers
