THANK YOU!! IT WORKED!
Again, I express my gratitude for the support I’ve been given by this wonderful template-making group!
Alas, no luck. I also tried clearing out my cache to make sure it refreshed…

(just to double check: I put it in Theme Options> Custom CSS (the dialogue box)

Great! An empty text box didn’t work, but an empty “raw HTML box” does. Thank you!

JayJay, you can’t put a widget inside Swift Page Builder text block.
Let me re-phrase.
In swift page builder, click on “text block” – when you click on the triangles, you have the options of 1/1, 3/4, 2/3 etc.
But they are always aligned left. What if I want something 1/4 aligned right? There is an option called spacer, which would work, except it only puts in vertical spaces, not horizontal.
Thank you! I forget the “cascading” part of CSS!!
Sure. I can also give you the logins if you’d like to take a look.
.carousel-items .post-item-details, #posts-slider .blog-item-details {
display: none !important;
}.recent-posts .love-it-wrapper {
display: none !important;
}recent-posts .post-date {
display: none !important;
}That’s where I added it. Theme options > general > custom CSS. No luck. I could remove the heart icon, but not the date.

Last night, I put this code in the custom css and if fixed my problem (I’m trying to remove the dates from “recent posts”. Then I accidentally hit “reset defaults” and … now when I enter the custom code, the date of the post is still there.
I’m using “recent posts” in swift page builder…
