    Just got it solved, here is the trick in case anyone else needs this: added “<?php the_author_description(); ?>” in the single post file, after the avatar and author’s name.

    Hi, Rui!

    Actually, this is happening on ALL blog posts.

    Hi, Ed

    I tried alternative fonts, and also deactivated everything that could be minifying the font =(
    I ended up using a custom CSS to change the fonts, it makes the site load slower and all, but I couldn’t think of any other solution.

    Thank you for your help and attention!
    Kind Regards!

    Hi, Ed!

    We use the W3 Total Cache Plugin. Just cleaned the cache, but still no effect. The fonts are weirdly still in bold, I’m not sure why…

    Any other ideas?

    Kind Regards!

    Hi,

    I’ve seen there have been some improvements, for instances now the font sizes are working according to the Theme Options. Still, for some reason all the fonts on the site are bold, it seems like some other CSS is overwriting what is on the Theme Options (even if a choose a light font like Lato 100, it still looks bold on the site).
    Also, still doesn’t seem like the Custom CSS is working.

    I’ve tried deactivating all mu plugins to check if there was a conflict, but didn’t seem to make any difference…

    Kind Regards!

    And are there any news on my issue? It’s been five days and still no solution…

    Hi, Kyle!

    Yes, indeed, the permission issue doesn’t let me update my theme.
    Still, this doesn’t answer for the problem with the font and CSS customisation because, as you said yourself, I should be able to customise them from the Theme Options without updating my theme.

    So far, the only solution I can find is using a custom CSS plugin, such as Simple Custom CSS, to add custom CSS. But I would prefer to use the theme’s built-in option, because using an extra plugin would be bad for my loading time.
    Any ideas of why the Theme Options are not working?

    Hello, Kyle!

    Have you read the previous messages of the thread?
    What is happening is the following:

    • I am unable to add custom CSS using the theme options – the CSS simply is not updating;
    • In the same way, the changes to the size of the fonts in the theme options does not work;
    • Mohammad from support, who was helping me, told me maybe the problem was that I didn’t have the most updated version of the theme;
    • When I tried to update from WordPress, I was unable to, because for some reason WordPress was not able to remove the older version.

    Therefore, currently I am trying to find out how to change the font sizes and add custom CSS, since it is not working from the Theme Options.

    Hi, Kyle!

    I know I can manually upload the new files over the FTP, but as I stated earlier, I am unable to find the updated version, because when I download from Theme Forest I get the 1.5 version — and as soon as I install it, I get the “there is a new update available” message.

    And also, is updating the theme the way of being able to configure the font sizes and custom CSS?
    Kind Regards!

    Just checked!
    It seems we have version 1.5 installed, and there is an update to 1.51… Yet, I can’t update the theme because WordPress is not able to remove the older version. Is there any way I can manually update from my CPanel ou FTP?

    Hi, Mohammad!

    I guess so, I downloaded it three days ago, customised and installed. I have been using this theme for two years now, but I downloaded it again and re-installed, so I guess it must be the latest version. One second, I will send you the admin login details!
